This matcha is intended for rich, creamy hojicha lattes with just a little sweetener. Here is our recommended ratio to start with.
5g (2.5 tsp) of hojicha powder
40g of warm water
120 ml milk of your choice
1 tsp of simple syrup (or its equivalent)
Directions: First whisk the hojicha and water together, then add your sweetener. Then pour the "hojicha shot" into your milk.
If you like it creamier, add more milk. If you want it stronger, add 1g (0.5 tsp) of matcha or reduce milk.
If you are using alternative milks with some sweetener, reduce or skip added sweetener.
